As a young man, Eric Scoggins earned a football scholarship to USC, where he established the
foundation necessary to achieve all of his goals: playing professional football and excelling in the corporate world. He did it all.
In 2007 Eric was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), but his spirit was not broken. He dreamed of finding a cure for ALS and through his partnership with Augie's Quest and attacked the
issue with the same passion that fueled his successful professional career and personal life.
Frustrated by our nation’s lack of awareness of this debilitating disease, Eric’s close friends were moved to host a fundraising dinner in January, 2008. Over $150,000 was raised
that evening and Eric’s Vision was born.
Eric’s Vision is a nonprofit organization that aims to raise support for individuals battling ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), fund ALS cure-driven research, and inspire further research
by providing college scholarships to deserving high school students.
